PPMLS COMMERCIAL LISTING IMPORT TO CSCP SYSTEM

RSC provides on-line listing information to its Participants.  The PPCIE/CSCP Catylist system is a “commercial” database.  The PPMLS Tempo system is predominantly a “residential” database; however it does contain several hundred commercial properties for sale or lease.

At the request of RCIS and to better market the PPMLS commercial properties to CSCP commercial brokers, RSC has designed a program to import limited listing information from the PPMLS system to the CSCP system.  The import program will run twice a month; on the 1^st and 15^th.  First import was on March 1, 2008.

Briefly, if a PPMLS property meets certain minimum data requirements in the CSCP system an attempt will be made to import it to CSCP.  Only properties available “For Sale” are imported.  Values for Building Available Sq Ft or Unit Total Sq Ft are required for import.  Selected properties are:

INCOME:  Fourplex, 5-Plex, or Apartments

COMMERCIAL:  Land, Office, Multi-Use, Retail, Warehouse, Industrial, Hotel, Motel, Campground, and Multi-Family.

When the imported listing appears in the CSCP system, the Overview will contain a note saying, “Imported from PPMLS Listing #xxxxxx.”  Also, the listing agent’s name, phone number email address and office name will appear.  The CSCP broker may use this information to contact the listing broker to obtain more information on the property.

The imported PPMLS commercial listings are only available for viewing on the “Member” side of CSCP; they are not available on the public search side.
