PRIMARY IMAGE REQUIRED FOR ALL PPMLS LISTINGS STARTING MAY 1

At the March 18, 2015 RSC Board of Directors meeting a motion was passed that requires a primary photo for all PPMLS listings entered from May 1, 2015.  Previously, an image was required only for categories Residential, Income and Rental.  In discussion the Directors concluded that it would be in the best interest of PPMLS participants and their clients if a primary image was required for all PPMLS listings entered starting May 1, 2015. The photo/image policies that currently apply to Residential, Income and Rental properties will also apply to Land, Farm, Commercial and Business Opportunity properties.  Please ensure that you upload your PPMLS listings with a compliant image(s) as stated in the  PPMLS Rules and Regulations (pg. 65).  Thank you for your cooperation.

LISTING SYNDICATION

The ability to syndicate to Zillow and Trulia from ListHub ceased as of April 7.  To accommodate PPMLS Participants, RSC is in the process of negotiating a separate data license agreement with Zillow Group (includes Trulia).  If negotiations are successful, RSC will then modify the Add Listing function in the PPMLS Matrix system to allow listing brokers to self-direct limited RES-Residential and RNT-Rental content for their listings into a file that will be made available to those destination sites.  This is a priority for RSC, although we do not have a date if/when this will be available.  An email will be sent and an announcement posted if/when this process is available.  In the interim, please note that these destination sites have a manual process whereby brokers may post their own inventory.  Click on these links to manually input your listings to these sites:  Zillow, Trulia
